This single handle showerhead features a ceramic cartridge and brass waterway, so that with its 2.0 Gal. per minute at 80 psi pressure balanced flow rate you are ensured of steady water flow even after years of everyday use. WaterSense labeled, ensuring that showerhead performs as well or better than other less efficient non-labeled showerheads. Traditional showerheads and faucets have average lifespan of 1-5 years, but the ceramic disc can last up to 30 years, providing protection against corrosion in the water valve. The pressure balanced valve will maintain a constant temperature even when the water pressure changes, this prevents the occurrence of both sudden scalding and extra cold water temperatures. Great feature of the easy-clean ABS showerhead is that you simply wipe the rubber spray nozzle with your finger or a sponge to clean away any hard water deposits and prevent lime scale build-up.
